Dental Insurance
If you have dental insurance benefits, once you provide your insurance information to us, as
a courtesy, our staff will contact your insurance company to determine your dental benefits.
We will ensure that you receive the maximum benefits to which you are entitled, according
to the terms of your plan. The amount a plan pays is determined by your plan. Each
person's benefits vary, and coverage varies by company and by plan.
We will calculate your insurance company’s expected payment as best as your insurance
company can determine for us (outstanding claims from your dentist might change not
accurately reflect your true benefit). Although we offer expert assistance to you in filing
claims for benefits, the responsibility for payment of services rendered will always remain
yours, and we strongly urge you to verify your dental benefits as well. Once our staff
estimates your co-payment, your portion of the payment, we request that you pay this
estimated amount at the time of service. We will bill your insurance company for the
procedure and their expected payment. Upon receiving the insurance payment, any
balance owed for services will be expected from you. Anything overpaid will be refunded by
check from our office.
We are a preferred provider with several dental insurance companies and we accept
all dental insurance carriers. Many plans make it challenging to generalize benefits in
advance. As a service to our patients we will verify your insurance coverage and do our
best to estimate the coverage your individual plan will provide prior to treatment. Our best
efforts however are not a guarantee of payment. Most insurance plans include a
deductible, co-payments and other expenses which are the responsibility of the patient.
What is covered and what is not is determined by what benefits and dental fee plan your
employer purchased for you.

Electronic Claims Submission
Hopkinton Endodontics utilizes a completely paperless Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
system. This EMR allows us to instantly create and submit your dental claims to your
insurer. This is done electronically at the time of treatment. This helps to ensure rapid
processing of your claim regardless of your insurance carrier and expedites benefits to you.
